AC Shadows Unveils Unexpected AoT Event for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre partnership that challenges conventional forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including free extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Mission Revealed
According to the authorized release, "A strange meeting leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of forbidden practices and monstrous changes echo through the shadows." The plot presents a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine sect.
The questline focuses on "bizarre experiments and a monstrous enemy" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Metamorphoses
The teaser features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview finishes with a striking moment showing a character, likely the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Prizes and Additional Features
Players who finish the mission will receive an unique katana in addition to numerous artifacts hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
